“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”

We humans are, like all other living organisms, perfectly equipped to dance to the rhythm of nature. We are simply (part of) nature ourselves. Hormonal processes in our body, waking and sleeping, the time of day when we are most or least alert, etcetera. Countless evolved synchronization mechanisms keep us in optimal condition to survive and thrive in our external and internal habitat. That is amazing.
Now, over a span of just 270 years, our living environment has been industrialized and urbanized at a rapid pace. This brought progress, growing prosperity, and increasing chances of survival. This new environment has a different rhythm from the one we are adapted to as a species. Many people adapt well to it. They attune their behavior and daily habits to that innate, natural rhythm. So that it is given space in this new living environment. They continue to connect to that part of nature within themselves. Intuitively understanding that they cannot live separate from it. These are the people who are thriving in this here and now. They dare to respect their intuition and gut feelings. Combining the best of both worlds. Not everyone succeeds in this.
